We work with a UK-wide partner who provide an on-line solution and advisory services for the measurement, procurement and reporting of social value. They operate on a cloud-based platform, using Salesforce, a widely used (and UK Government-approved) CRM platform. Using the tools and resources provided by this platform, they provide evidence-based consultancy advice on socio-economic impacts to public and private sector clients.
They have designed a user interface for this platform which allows community benefits data to be input quickly and easily by multiple users. They have developed a methodology for estimating social value called the National TOMs (Themes, Outcomes & Measures) which acts as the calculator on the Portal. Their largest industry sector is construction, using National TOMs to measure social value on a mix of local authority assets, with an aggregate contract value in excess of £650m.
